Preparing Your Artwork

Recommended File Types

  • Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) — Best quality, infinitely scalable
  • High-res PNG/JPG — At least 300 DPI at print size
  • Spot colors — Provide Pantone (PMS) codes for color matching

Design Tips

  • Simplify gradients — Convert to solid colors for cleaner prints
  • Mind the details — Fine text should be 0.125" or larger
  • Solid areas work best — Large halftones may show dots
  • Light on dark — Add a white underbase for dark garments

Common Screen Printing Questions

Our screen printing minimum is 25 pieces per design. However, if you need fewer than 25, we can use DTG printing instead — same great quality, no minimums required.
Yes! We offer individualized names/numbers using transfer printing for an additional fee. This works well for team uniforms where each player needs a different name on the back. Pricing depends on the quantity of unique names.
You can use as many colors as you like, but each color requires its own screen, which adds to the setup cost. For most projects, 1-4 colors works best. Complex full-color designs may be better suited for DTG printing.
Absolutely! We can match specific Pantone (PMS) colors for exact brand consistency. Color matching is free on orders of 50+ pieces; a $25 fee applies to smaller orders.
